Game on as more friendly fixtures tweaks required on the Devon Hockey Website as the pre-season gets into full swing.

Received the Plymouth Marjon pre-season tournament schedule for Saturday 17 September; full details to follow when finalised. It will be a slightly different line up and format this year with Mens Premier 1 & 2 teams forming a ‘Premiership’ round robin tournament and Men’s Premier 3 Teams and below forming a round robin ‘Championship’.

I also had to sort our some bouncing emails as some people have not kept their email addresses up to date on the Devon Hockey Website. Can everyone make sure your contact details are updated asap please?

Starting to receive requests for Level 1 Umpire Award courses. Graham Doney is DHUA Umpire Course Coordinator so please direct and question on this to him at (see http://www.devonhockey.net/Public/Committees.php for details of how to contact him).

Added News Items to the Devon Hockey Website about the EHB Roadshow ‘Are We Ready’ in Exeter on 3 October 2011 and FIH Champions Trophy no longer being held in India in 2011 (see http://www.devonhockey.net/Public/News.php for details).
