Had an enquiry from a Devon Club about how to get access to the league websites to enter fixture information for the league so I have emailed all fixtures secretaries to inform them to update league fixture information, which can only be done via the relevant league website. OVER 30 FIXTURES currently have NO START TIMES! Once done this information is then transferred across to the Devon hockey website automatically within 24 hours.
Updated website with ISCA pre-season friendlies and sent tweet about other clubs who need friendly pre-season games umpired by DHUA.
Prepare the draft ‘Club Agreements’ whereby clubs can apply to be an ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ Club depending on the ratio of affiliated umpires per league team. The higher the ratio then the higher the club status, with ‘A’ being the highest Club Status. This means an ‘A’ Club gets higher umpire appointing priority and the lowest umpire appointing fees. Conversely a ‘C’ Club gets the lowest umpiring priority and the highest appointing fees.
Also authorised 2 updates to the website to assist the DHUA Appointment Secretary by providing email remainders for those who have not entered any availability or changed availability before appointments are published.
